Race and Penis Size

Several studies have been conducted over the years to determine if there’s any significant relationship between race and penis size. All these tests suffer from standard statistical testing flaws and selection bias. No test has reached a conclusive verdict about any correlation between race and size of penis.

One of the reposts on the matter, the Kinsey report, based its observations on self reported data from African and Caucasian Americans. These groups taken together show that the variations in penis size actually occurs within the group itself. The difference in size of African and American penis was not found to be significant. The report also questioned the survey method of self reporting because it found that homosexual males reported larger penis size than heterosexual men.

The Kinsey study on penis size, conducted in 1948 concluded that the average erect length was 6.21 inches and the average erect girth was 4.85 inches. Average Flaccid length was found to be 3.89 inches and flaccid girth 3.75 inches on average.

Tests have also been conducted with samples from Asian and African countries. Again no significant relationship between race and penis size was found.

"It is generally said that the penis of the Negro is very large," wrote German anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach in 1795.  Louis Jacolliet, a 19th century French writer who spent three decades investigating penis size, had this to say: "In no branch of the human race are the male organs more developed than in the African Negro." However Kinsey’s study found no statistical evidence to support this long held view.

While debate continues about the size, it’s important to remember that nature has a way of providing what’s needed and through evolution our organs adapt to the environment we live in. So whatever the average size of the penis is for a race, it’s the right size for them
